Revolutionary Brain Training Programs
Natural Learning Solutions opened in 2018 as the first cognitive skill training studio in the Onalaska and La Crosse area. Using revolutionary brain training programs, we address learning, attention, and reading issues for students and adults with dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum, Traumatic Brain Injury, and processing disorders.
Our Process
Assessment
We begin with a cognitive skills assessment, which shows us the core cognitive skills of the client. This information is gathered through the Gibson test of cognitive skills, essentially a battery of short tests that reviews auditory processing, word attack, logic, reasoning, working memory, processing speed, visual processing, and long-term memory.
Consultation
A consult overviews the root cause of cognitive skill development and differentiates between that and symptom management of dysfunctional learning techniques, which is far more common in standard group educational settings. We review the assessment results and recommend a program that is properly-suited to the needs of the client.
Training
We employ a customized, one-on-one, cutting-edge educational practice that addresses and fixes learning struggles at their root cause. We do not manage symptoms to maintain classroom cohesion, but rather focus on the shortcomings of cognitive processing that inhibit all learning. Its brain training will improve weak cognitive skills for lasting results.
